locks on your habitation box,

pople have this incredible knack of breaking in and steeling, frankly you cant stop it but  thieves dont like spending to much time trying as it heightened the risk of getting sust out, so  we need to find ways of slowing them down.

right, tip for your Door iv done this on mine and i do feel more safe at night and also leaving it  parked unattended.

iv fited a rack bolt to the top and bottom section of the doors you need a star typ key to open  them as well as the caravan lock.  you drill a large hole in the sandwich part of the door  and slide  the lock with in the two skins and then plase some blu tack on the frame shut the door and  turn the key to make a imprison then open and dot punch  over the blu tack  and drill thats a how you fit the lock but dont for get to drill the hole for the key this can have a hole all the way in or drill only for the inside up to you.

windows, iv got the steel stays type and drilled in the lock catch and put two suitcase locks to hold it back, now you may think  that windows are safe. wrong.

a slim jim will gain access trust me, a chap up the road from me had a window stole they used a slim jim , thin flexi steel strip of flat steel to push the catch and got the window open, well cant help you on the plastic catch but if you have any thing  you can offer to help with a ider i can post up. id be reel happy to share it here.

i will sort some pics in the morning  of the work iv done here so far. worth a read and popping back .

NOTE ( also i need to point out that using torque screws may also slow them down as i would like to thing that the slow minded thieve would only have a cross head or pozidriv with him so may be a good time to replace some screws, say around window frames catches door locks gas lockers loo waist hatch frame ,but not on this the hinge pins drop out very easily. and so forth)
